Can Apple save MLS like its trying to save MLB? Football is the most popular sport in the world so the league would only have to pick up a fraction of the amount of this global fanbase. The new tv deal with Apple is a plus for all parties involve. The future streaming product has the potential to provide the breakthrough MLS needs. Then again, they could always change the structure — implement relegation.
